Our data centers are green-by-design
We design our data centers to be efficient and sustainable from the site selection stage, as in the case of the Ponte San Pietro data center, which was built on a redeveloped former industrial site. Our green-by-design approach enables us to ensure service performance and reliability while minimizing the consumption of natural resources.
We purchase and generate energy from renewable sources
In addition to purchasing electricity with Guarantees of Origin, we generate clean energy through photovoltaic panels installed on the surfaces of our data centers and our own hydroelectric power plants in northern Italy. In this way, we help reduce the environmental footprint of our customers’ digital infrastructure.
We are committed to the goals of the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact
We are among the first European operators to have our compliance with the commitments of the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact independently audited, supporting the goal of achieving climate-neutral data centers by 2030: energy efficiency, use of clean energy, reduced water consumption, and reuse of IT components.
