  • Agentless Backup does not require installation of software or agents inside virtual machines. It operates directly on the storage, reducing management complexity and performance impact. Agent-based solutions, instead, require components installed on each guest system, with greater maintenance and operational overhead.

  • Yes. You can restore data to a new volume or to another virtual machine, quickly and independently from the operating system. This allows you to create test environments, emergency clones, or safety copies for business continuity.

  • Yes. Agentless Backup is compatible with Aruba Managed Kubernetes and allows you to protect persistent volumes (CSI) used by containerized applications. You can keep consistent copies of data and easily restore them when needed.

  • No. The service uses a snapshot-based approach, which lets you create copies of volumes without interfering with the guest system. VMs and containers continue to run with the same performance, even during backup.

  • All backups are saved in redundant infrastructures hosted at Aruba Cloud data centers, certified and located in Italy. Data is protected from unauthorized access and managed through secure connections and authentication via Control Panel or API. Replication and distributed architecture ensure continuous availability and reliability.
